APJ Abdul Kalam

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, popularly known as APJ Abdul Kalam is one of the most glittering scientists throughout the world. He was born on 15th October 1931 in a small town of Tamilnadu. He completed his schooling from Schwartz Higher Secondary School then he passed out BSc from St. Joseph College. After BSc, he joined MIT (Madras Institute of Technology). Later he joined DRDO in 1958 and ISRO in 1963. Due to his utmost effort or restless work India has got world-class missiles like Agni, Prithvi, Trishul, Akash etc. He is also known as the Missile Man of India.
From 2002 to 2007 APJ Abdul Kalam served as the 11th President of India. In 1998 he was honoured with the highest civilian award of India Bharat Ratna. Except that he has been awarded Padma Bibhushan in 1960 and Padma Bhushan in 1981.  He dedicated his whole life to the development of the country. During his life, he visited thousands of schools, colleges and tried to motivate the youths of the country to work for the development of the country. On 27th July 2015 at the age of 83 APJ Abdul Kalam was passed away while he was delivering a lecture at IIM Shillong due to a sudden cardiac attack. The death of APJ Abdul Kalam is a great loss for India.

Mahasweta Devi


Mahasweta Devi (born 1926, Bangladesh)  was a Bengali fiction writer, a social activist, a crusader for the tribal communities, and a feminist.
Mahasweta Devi worked as a journalist and an English professor. She has almost 100 novels and over 20 collections of short stories to her name, primarily written in Bengali but often translated to other languages. She had completed her BA and MA in English in West Bengal."Jhansir Rani"(1956) Was her 1st book.Her masterpieces includes 'Draupadi', 'Haazar Churasi Kimau', 'Rudali',etc.
 She has been described as one of the boldest female writers in India. She was also the founding member of the Aboriginal United Association
 Mahasweta Devi has won both the Sahitya Akademi ( in 1979) and Jnanpith ( in 1996) awards for literary excellence. She is also a recipient of the Ramon Magsaysay award ( in 1997) and the Padma Vibhushan (2006) and  Padamshri ( in 1986).

Sister Nivedita


Born as Margaret Elizabeth Noble, she was more popularly called Sister Nivedita. She was an Anglo-Irish social worker, who was one amongst the various disciples of Swami Vivekananda. She came across Swami Vivekananda in the year 1895 in London. It was the great soul, Swami, who called her by the name "Nivedita". The word Nivedita is used to refer to someone who is highly dedicated to the almighty God.
She came into this world on Oct 28, 1867. She was born in Ireland as the daughter of Mary Isabel and Samuel Richmond Noble. Her father always taught her that, service to mankind is the true service to God. His words made an impression on Nivedita's mind.
Her aim was to motivate an improvement in the lives of Indian women belonging to various social classes and castes. She tried to bridge the gap and put an end to the caste distinctions. Throughout her life, she worked hard for serving the people and society at large. This started having adverse effects on her health. Finally, this great soul left for her heavenly abode on October 13, 1911.

Swami Vivekananda


PREFACE:
Swami Vivekananda was born on 18 January 1863 as Narendra Nath Dutt in Calcutta.
His parents were Vishwanath Dutta (a lawyer in the Calcutta High Court) and Bhuvaneshwari Devi (a religious housewife).
He was one of the most popular Hindu monks, a patriotic saint of India, and a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

WORK OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA:
His teachings and valuable ideas are India’s greatest philosophical asset, his philosophies of modern Vedanta and Raj Yoga are a great inspiration to the youth.
He founded Belur Math, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, which disseminates the religious and spiritual teachings of Vivekananda and also engages in educational and social work.
Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary is celebrated as National Youth Day on 12 January every year since 1985.
This festival helps inspire the younger generations as well as teach the religious ideals of Vivekananda in the coming generations.

CONCLUSION:
Swami Vivekananda was a great leader and philosopher who represented India on an international stage and won the hearts of the global audience.
His teachings and philosophy are the guiding light for the youth of India, and his ideas have always inspired people and will still serve as a source of energy for future generations.

Mrinal Sen


Mrinal Sen (also spelt Mrinal Shen; 14 May 1923 – 30 December 2018) was an Indian filmmaker and a nominated Member of the Indian parliament. Sen directed films primarily in Bengali and Hindi. Along with his contemporaries Satyajit Ray and Ritwik Ghatak, he pioneered the New Wave cinema in India. Sen was an ardent Marxist. His earlier films are characterized by their left-leaning, often Marxist approaches to Indian society. Sen won the National Film Awards 18 times, next only to Ray. He was made the Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 1985. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2008 and the Order of Friendship in 2005. The same year, he was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award his contribution to Indian cinema. He is considered to be one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. He is the only Indian filmmaker along with Satyajit Ray whose films have been awarded at the big three film festivals namely the Cannes film festival, Venice Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival.


Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar


Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was a great social reformer. He was born in Birsingha village at the Paschim Midnapore district in Bengal province on 26 September 1820. He was from a very orthodox family. He started his education carrier with the local school of west Bengal.
In 1841 he passed Sanskrit with disguised marks. As a part-time job, he joined the part fort Williams College and teaches Sanskrit. He was married to Dinamani Devi. The main focus of Vidyasagar is the status of women in society.
He made a lot of effort and do many things for the Hindu widow because that time condition of the Hindu widow is pitiable. He played a vital role in the Bengal renaissance. He has multiple skills. He was an academic educator, translator, reformer, philosopher, painter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
He also wrote many books which show Bengali culture. He was associated with many prestigious newspapers. He also establishes press and printed many books.
His remarkable Bengali grammar learning book is very helpful for the reader to understand Bengali grammar. At the age of 70 years in 1891 and the month is 29 July he passed away.

William Shakespeare


William Shakespeare was born on April 23rd 1564 .he was baptized on April 24, 1564, in Stratford -upon Avon, workweek he was the third of 8 children. born on John Shakespeare and Mary Arden.
John was a well-known merchant and Mary was the daughter of a Roman Catholic members of the generic on high social position.
